Hanuman Ansh Day 51 Box Office: Low-Budget Film Crosses ₹350 Crore In India

Vishal Chaturvedi’s low-budget spiritual film Hanuman Ansh continues its extraordinary theatrical run, crossing the Rs 350 crore mark in India gross collections on Day 51.

According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 6.50 crore net in India on Saturday, September 26 (its eighth Saturday), from 3,979 shows. This marked a strong weekend jump of nearly 94% over the previous day’s Rs 3.35 crore. With this addition, Hanuman Ansh has now amassed Rs 298.03 crore net and Rs 352.10 crore gross in India. The film is just a short distance away from the coveted Rs 300 crore India net milestone.

Overseas, the film added Rs 0.75 crore on Day 51, taking its international gross to Rs 37.75 crore. The worldwide gross now stands at an impressive Rs 389.85 crore.

What makes this run remarkable is the film’s journey. Released on August 7, 2026, Hanuman Ansh opened to a modest Rs 10 lakh on its first day and collected barely Rs 1.48 crore in the first two weeks combined. Positive word-of-mouth gradually built momentum. By Week 4 and Week 5, collections exploded, with the film regularly posting double-digit crore figures. Made on a reported budget of around Rs 2 crore (some reports put it even lower), the movie has delivered one of the highest returns on investment in recent Indian cinema history.

Directed, written and produced by Vishal Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh is a biographical drama inspired by the life and teachings of Neem Karoli Baba. It stars Shobhinaw Satyaa in the lead and is planned as the first part of a trilogy.

Even after more than seven weeks in theatres, the film is holding steady occupancy, especially in evening and night shows. Industry observers note that its sustained performance underlines the power of content-driven, faith-based cinema that connects deeply with audiences without relying on big stars or heavy marketing.

As Hanuman Ansh inches closer to the Rs 400 crore worldwide mark, it stands as one of the most inspiring sleeper-hit stories of 2026.
