Coastal and nearby districts are among those expected to experience particularly challenging conditions. Heatwave-like weather is forecast for parts of Mumbai and Palghar, while hot and humid spells are likely to affect Ratnagiri, Raigad, and Thane. Light rainfall may bring minor respite to Sindhudurg district. In northern areas, residents of Nashik, Dhule, and Jalgaon should prepare for hot weather, with dry conditions dominating in Nashik.
In Pune and surrounding parts of western Maharashtra, skies are expected to remain largely clear and fair. A localized yellow alert has been issued for Solapur due to anticipated afternoon conditions. Cloudy weather may develop over Kolhapur, Satara, and Sangli districts.

Marathwada is also set for warm temperatures, with a yellow heat alert covering Jalna, Beed, and Nanded. Some locations in the region, including Dharashiv and Latur, could see light rain under a separate yellow alert. Meanwhile, heatwave conditions have already emerged across Nagpur and nearby districts in Vidarbha, where dry and intensely hot weather is predicted to continue.
The persistent delay in monsoon advancement has prolonged the period of scorching daytime temperatures and high humidity across the state, affecting daily life, agriculture, and public comfort. Authorities continue to monitor developments, as even limited rainfall in certain pockets could offer temporary easing in affected zones.
