Salman Khan’s Million-Dollar Post For Rajpal Yadav Leaves Internet Buzzing After Awards Show Jab
A video clip of Rajpal Yadav has gone viral in social media of Screen Awards 2026 held at Mumbai on April 5.
In the clip, the hosts of the show were seen mocking Rajpal Yadav for his ongoing cheque bounce case which sparked mixed reactions online creating a buzz.
One of the hosts made a comment for which 55 year old actor was jailed for few days before getting bail in February. He said, ” Rajpal bhai, dollar kitna bhi upar neeche ho jaye, apko utne hi paise lautane padenge jitne udhar hai,” which means “Rajpal brother, no matter how high or low dollar goes, you will still have to return the same amount that you have borrowed,” the host said this to crack joke even Rajpal did laugh as well. However, the remark appeared to catch Rajpal off guard. He paused briefly and responded, “Masla toh sunlo ek baar, main toh masla hi sunana chahta hoon (Hear the problem once. I just want to explain this problem once). The clip quickly captivated the eyeballs on social media with several users saying that how insensitive a aperson could be, while some debated on the tone of exchange.

Amid the viral clip, Salman Khan stepped in and supported Rajpal Yadav by sharing a post which said, ” Rajpal bhai, aap 30 saal se kaam kar rahe ho aur hum sabne aapko baar-baar repeat kiya hai kyunki aap apna kaam jaante ho aur ek value laate ho (Rajpal bhai, you’ve been working for 30 years, and we’ve praised you again and again because you know your craft and bring immense value).”
He further said that work continues to come in Rajpal’s way, regardless of the situation. Kaam toh aapko bohot milega dollar upar ho ya neeche kya farak padta hai, dena toh India mein hi hai (You’ll get plenty of work, whether the dollar goes up or down-it’s all meant to be given in India anyway),” Salman said on X, urging him to stay focused and keep working from the heart.

Later on Rajpal Yadav reacted by posting a video on social media tagging the award show hosts Suarabh Dwivedi and Zakir Khan. He clarified that it was done in good spirits and that both the hosts are like his younger brothers.
