The makers of Drishyam: The Conclusion have confirmed that the trailer of Ajay Devgn’s highly anticipated crime thriller will drop on September 9, 2026. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 2, 2026, coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti.
The announcement came with a fresh poster featuring Ajay Devgn as Vijay Salgaonkar alongside Shriya Saran and other family members. The characters appear tense, underscoring the heightened stakes. The accompanying message reads: “Iss baar khatra aur bhi bada hai. Salgaonkar parivaar…wapas ghere mein hai,” signalling that the Salgaonkar family once again finds itself under intense scrutiny.
Directed by Abhishek Pathak, who also helmed Drishyam 2, the film is presented by Star Studio18 and produced by Panorama Studios. Pathak has co-written the screenplay with Aamil Keeyan Khan and Parveez Shaikh. Ajay Devgn reprises his role as the resourceful Vijay Salgaonkar, with Shriya Saran returning as Nandini. The ensemble also includes Tabu, Jaideep Ahlawat, Prakash Raj, Rajat Kapoor and Ishita Dutta.
The Drishyam franchise has built its reputation on taut storytelling, family loyalty and clever cat-and-mouse games with the law. This third instalment is positioned as the conclusion of the Hindi trilogy, promising to resolve the lingering threads from the earlier films while introducing new threats. The trailer, already cleared by the CBFC with a U/A 16+ certificate and running approximately 2 minutes 52 seconds, is expected to give audiences their first substantial look at the new chapter. A star-studded launch event in Goa has also been reported.
With the trailer just days away and the film landing on a holiday weekend, expectations are high for the Salgaonkar family’s final act of survival and strategy. Fans of the series will finally get a clearer picture of how Vijay navigates the biggest challenge yet when the trailer arrives on September 9.
