Munir Threatens To Destroy Indian Dam On Indus River With Missiles, He Compares India To Mercedes, Pakistan To Dump Truck

Karachi : Pakistan’s army chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, reportedly issued nuclear threats against India while speaking in the United States. At a black-tie dinner in Tampa hosted by businessman and honorary consul Adnan Asad, Munir told attendees.

The remarks mark the first known instance of a nuclear threat being issued from US territory against a third country. Munir, on his second US visit in two months since the four-day conflict with India, took aim at India over control of the Indus River. “We will wait for India to build a dam, and when it does so, we will destroy it with ten missiles,” he said, adding, “The Indus river is not the Indians’ family property… We have no shortage of missiles, Alhumdulillah,” Munir said, as quoted by ThePrint, citing sources.

Munir also claimed that “India seeks to present itself as a world leader, but in reality, it is far from it. He reportedly referred to the killing of a Sikh leader in Canada, the arrest of eight Indian naval officers in Qatar, and the Kulbhushan Jadhav case — claiming these incidents serve as “irrefutable evidence” of India’s alleged involvement in terrorism internationally.

He also held talks with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dan Caine and invited him to visit Pakistan. According to news agency PTI, Munir met defence chiefs from friendly countries on the sidelines. This visit follows Munir’s rare five-day US trip in June, when he attended a private luncheon with President Donald Trump.
