Two Indian Men Gunned Down Outside Gurdwara in Italy

In a shocking incident in northern Italy, two Indian men were fatally shot outside a gurdwara in the town of Covo, Bergamo province, as they left a warehouse serving as a place of worship during celebrations for the Vaisakhi festival, local media reported.
The attack took place on Friday, just minutes before midnight, in the square in front of the Gurdwara Mata Sahib Kaur Ji located in the town’s industrial area, according to La Sicilia newspaper.
The victims were identified as Raginder Singh, 48, who lived in Covo, and Gurmit Singh, 48, a resident of Agnadello. Both men were shot dead by an assailant who approached them, opened fire, and then escaped in a car, the newspaper said.
Initial investigations have ruled out the possibility that the shooting stemmed from a sudden brawl that turned violent. Instead, authorities recovered around ten shell casings at the scene and are examining the theory of a coldly planned execution.
