Microsoft, Apple, Google Among 18 Tech Giants On IRGC Hit List, Over Alleged Killings of Leaders
Tehran: Iran has issued a stark warning that it may target major American technology companies, including Google and Meta, in response to what it claims are assassinations of its leaders, according to a report by NDTV.
In a statement, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it had identified 18 prominent US firms as potential targets. These include Apple, Meta, Google, Microsoft, Intel, IBM, Dell, Tesla, Nvidia, Boeing, HP, Cisco, Oracle, Planter, J.P. Morgan, GE, Spire Solutions and G42.The group alleged that these companies played a role in facilitating what it described as the “targeted assassination” of Iranian officials during the ongoing conflict.
The IRGC announced that actions against these firms could begin from April 1, warning that their “relevant units” may face destruction in retaliation for attacks on Iranian leadership. The statement marks a significant escalation in rhetoric, as Tehran expands its focus beyond military targets to include corporate entities linked to the United States.

Additionally, the Guards urged employees working for these organisations to leave their workplaces immediately to avoid harm. The warning underscores growing concerns about the safety of commercial infrastructure and personnel in the region as hostilities intensify.
The development comes amid an ongoing conflict between Iran and the US, which has already seen military strikes and heightened geopolitical tensions across the Middle East. Analysts suggest that targeting major corporations could signal a shift toward economic and technological dimensions of warfare, broadening the scope of the confrontation.
On the other hand, the Donald Trump administration has responded to Iran’s threat of attacking American tech giants, saying the US military is prepared to thwart any potential aggression from Tehran.
According to a Reuters report, “The United States military is and was prepared to curtail any attacks by Iran, as evidenced by the 90 per cent drop in ballistic missile and drone attacks by the terrorist regime,” said a White House official, who does not wish to be named.
