
A 21 year old woman, Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Freitas died after she was pushed off of a 130 foot bridge without necessary safety attachments. The freak incident was captured on video and has quickly become viral across social media platforms.
Rayza Dias, an off duty nurse who was present on the spot, quickly rushed to Maria through a muddy slope, injuring her hand in the process. When Rayza reached at Maria’s side, she was still alive.
“I even talked to her, said nobody dies on my watch,” said Rayza. Maria wanted to be a physical education teacher.
Authorities have arrested 3 people so far due to lack of negligence and homicide. Two of the suspects escaped on spot and were later apprehended using a military chopper.
