A devastating mass shooting at BORG Dreierschützengasse high school in Graz on Tuesday morning left ten people dead, including the suspected student gunman, according to Mayor. The death toll may rise even further. The attacker is believed to have taken his own life during the incident.

Mayor Kahr described the event as a “terrible tragedy,” revealing that among the victims were seven students and one adult, in addition to the shooter. Numerous victims were rushed to local hospitals with serious injuries. Authorities swiftly secured the scene and transported students and staff to safety. By 11:30 a.m., the police confirmed the situation was under control and there was no further threat to the public.
