Ahmedabad Shock: Class 12 Student Receives Death Threats on Instagram After Incident in Seventh Day School

Ahmedabad: Just days after the brutal killing of a student from Seventh Day School in Khokhara, another disturbing case involving students has surfaced in the city’s eastern part. A Class 12 student from I.P. Mission School in Raikhad has filed a complaint against his former friend for allegedly giving him death threats on Instagram.

How the Clash Began

According to the complaint lodged at Gaekwad Haveli Police Station, the incident traces back to a minor misunderstanding in the classroom. About ten days ago, the student was attending class when, while opening a window in dim lighting, his hand accidentally touched a girl classmate. The incident sparked an argument between the two, which quickly escalated and even reached the principal’s office. After clarification that it was a misunderstanding, the matter was resolved.

However, another former student of the school, known for misbehaving with teachers, students, and even the principal, got wind of this classroom dispute. The accused, who had earlier been expelled from the school with a leaving certificate, confronted the complainant online.

Threat Messages on Instagram

Two days ago, the complainant began receiving abusive and threatening messages on Instagram. In one of the texts, the accused warned him by saying: “Let’s settle this face to face. If we meet in school, I’ll ruin your reputation. Go apologize with folded hands now, or you won’t even be left capable of folding them. I’ve already ‘set your fielding’ long ago.”

Alarmed by these threats, the student refrained from responding and instead informed his father. Considering the recent Khokhara case, his father immediately decided to approach the police. Subsequently, a formal FIR was registered, and authorities have launched an investigation to ensure no untoward incident occurs.

Police Action

Officials confirm that inquiries are ongoing and strict action will be taken against the accused to prevent any escalation. The case has once again raised concerns about student conflicts spilling onto social media platforms and turning into serious threats.
