Mahisagar: A serious incident concerning student safety has emerged in Balasinor town of the district. After school hours, near Talav Darwaja, a Class 8 student was attacked with a knife by another student, causing panic in the area.
What happened in Balasinor
According to details, a dispute broke out among some students after school. As the argument escalated, one student attacked another with a knife. The injured student sustained serious wounds from the stabbing. With help from locals, the victim was rushed to a hospital for immediate treatment.

Upon learning of the incident, a team from Balasinor Town Police quickly reached the scene and the hospital. Based on statements from the injured student and other witnesses, police registered a case and began further investigation. The incident has created fear and concern among parents.
A similar incident occurred in Ahmedabad
Notably, a similar case happened in Ahmedabad’s Khokhra area, where a Seventh Day School student was killed by a fellow student. Following that incident, Khokhra Police registered a complaint against a mob of over 500 people in connection with subsequent clashes and vandalism.
