Karjan : Panic broke out at a CNG station on National Highway-48 near Karjan on October 1 after a car exploded while it was being refuelled.The incident took place in the afternoon at a CNG station opposite Jindal Company. According to information available, the vehicle’s CNG tank reportedly burst during the refuelling process, triggering a powerful explosion.

Fortunately, no one was inside the car when the blast occurred, and no casualties were reported. The explosion damaged the rear portion of the car, while parts of the vehicle and shattered glass were thrown several metres from the spot. Two other vehicles parked nearby were also damaged in the blast.
The sudden explosion caused panic at the CNG station and surrounding area.Following the incident, the Karjan fire team and police reached the spot and took necessary safety measures. The exact cause of the CNG tank rupture and explosion was not immediately clear.
