8 Students Hurt After School Bus Skids Off Road in Amreli’s Dhari

Amreli: A school bus carrying students went off the road in Dhari taluka of Amreli district after its steering rod snapped, leaving more than eight children with minor injuries, officials said.
The bus belonged to Gopalagram OPZ High School and was en route from Chalala to Gopalagram when the driver lost control after the steering rod broke. The vehicle veered off the road, causing the accident.
All injured students were shifted to Chalala Government Hospital for treatment. Police reached the spot shortly after being informed of the incident. The local MLA also visited the hospital following the accident. Fortunately, a major tragedy was averted, authorities said.
