Tamannaah Bhatia’s 5 Hour Mata Ki Chowki Has A Powerful Message About Faith And Modern Women

The actress joined Mrunal Thakur at a Navratri devotional gathering, sharing moments of prayer, bhajans and reflection while connecting the experience to her evolving spiritual journey.

Mumbai: Actor Tamannaah Bhatia marked the beginning of Navratri with a Mata Ki Chowki that kept her immersed in devotion for five hours. Sharing glimpses of the gathering on Instagram, the actress offered fans a look at an evening of devotional music, aarti, dancing and spiritual storytelling, describing the experience as a moment in which time seemed to stand still.

The gathering brought together music and worship, with actress Mrunal Thakur also seen participating in the celebrations. Tamannaah joined the aarti, danced alongside other women and took time for quiet reflection. For the occasion, she wore a red saree with an orange blouse, complemented by a red embroidered shawl and minimal jewellery.

Tamannaah Bhatia Reflects on Faith, Feminine Energy

Beyond the festivities, Tamannaah’s post carried a message about the different forms of strength associated with the goddesses Saraswati, Lakshmi and Durga.

In a separate caption, she wrote, “A little Saraswati. A little Lakshmi. A little Durga,” adding that these qualities already reside within the modern woman.

The reflection connected traditional religious symbolism with contemporary conversations about women’s identity and strength. Saraswati is associated with knowledge and learning, Lakshmi with prosperity and abundance, and Durga with courage and protection. Together, these figures represent qualities that extend beyond ritual worship into everyday life.

Music and the Vaishno Devi Connection

Tamannaah also credited Preety Pathania for bringing the devotional experience to life through bhajans and stories about Maa Durga, including a vivid musical account of the pilgrimage to Vaishno Devi.

The actress explained that the combination of songs, storytelling and collective participation made the gathering feel more immersive than simply listening to devotional music. She reflected on how the room’s energy could coexist with an unexpected sense of inner calm.

“Five hours of music, prayer and surrender,” she wrote, capturing the central feeling of the evening.

How The Vvaan Connects With Her Spiritual Journey

The gathering comes amid Tamannaah’s association with The Vvaan, a mythology inspired fantasy drama that has brought religious traditions into her professional life. The film, which also stars Sidharth Malhotra, was released in theatres on September 25, 2026.

Her latest post offers another glimpse into this interest in spirituality. While a Mata Ki Chowki is a devotional gathering centred on worship, bhajans and prayer, Tamannaah’s account highlights something more personal how collective celebration can also create space for introspection.

For the actress, the evening was not simply about observing a festival. It was an opportunity to experience faith through music, shared energy and a moment of stillness.
