Malayalam TV Actor Siddharth Venugopal Dies at 40 After Cancer Battle
The Malayalam television industry is mourning the loss of popular actor Siddharth Venugopal, who breathed his last after fighting cancer for nearly two years. He was 40 years old at the time of his passing. His health had deteriorated significantly in the recent days, leaving fans and colleagues deeply saddened, as reported by the Entertainment Desk of ABP Majha.
Siddharth Venugopal was a well-recognised face in Malayalam TV serials. He gained prominence for his roles in popular shows such as Kasturiman and Bhagyajathakam. His interest in acting began at a young age, and he actively participated in stage plays during his college days. He entered the television industry with the support of producer Arun Ghosh.
Actress Seema G. Nair, who had been closely supporting him during his illness, shared an emotional tribute on Facebook and Instagram. She wrote, “All hopes have now faded. Popular serial actor Siddharth Venugopal is no more. He has taken leave from this world, where there is no pain. For the past two years, I fought for you. Even though my mind and body were completely exhausted, I kept running to save your life. Today, God has decided that you should not suffer anymore… Siddharth, I cannot bear this, I am completely broken.”
Actor Kishor Satya also paid tribute, stating, “We have lost another artist too soon. Siddharth Venugopal was a familiar face to TV serial viewers. For some time, he was fighting cancer. Seema took care of his health. I pray for peace to Siddharth’s soul.”
The news of his demise has sent shockwaves through the Malayalam television fraternity and among his fans. Siddharth Venugopal will be remembered for his contributions to the small screen and the warmth he brought to his characters.
