The moment took place during an event in Mumbai celebrating filmmaker David Dhawan’s contribution to Bollywood, where Salman jokingly pointed out that Varun seems to enjoy recreating his popular songs.
The light hearted comment comes at a time when the recreated version of “Chunari Chunari” from the upcoming film “Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai” has already sparked discussion online. The original track, featuring Salman Khan and Sushmita Sen in 1999 blockbuster Biwi No.1, remains one of the most loved dance numbers of its era.
As soon as Salman made the ramark, Varun appeared slightly embrassed while audience brust into laughter. Videos from the event quickly went viral on social media, with many fans enjoying the fun banter between the two actors.
