The property, named “Serenity,” is situated near her hometown in Virajpet, within Karnataka’s Kodagu district, offering the star a peaceful personal retreat amid her demanding career.
Rashmika, who turned 30 on April 5, celebrated the occasion in the company of close family members shortly after her high-profile marriage to actor Vijay Deverakonda. The couple had tied the knot in a grand ceremony in Udaipur on February 26, making this their first visit to her hometown as husband and wife. The actress shared glimpses of her intimate birthday on Instagram, describing the day as distinctly different this year. She recounted returning home after some time, visiting the temple she attended while growing up, viewing her old school from outside due to time limits, and briefly reliving childhood memories. Rashmika noted cutting her cake surrounded by “the people who are the reason for my being today, to the people who are going to be my forever.” She also hosted a small dinner for relatives who could not attend her wedding with Vijay Deverakonda.

The couple paid a visit to the Sri Igguthappa Temple in Padi and took part in a private reception in her hometown on April 5 and 6. They observed traditional Kodava customs, with Rashmika appearing in ethnic Kodava attire that honoured her heritage. Her family arranged meals, distributed sweets to local residents, and announced scholarships for outstanding students from the area, adding a community touch to the events.
During her stay, Rashmika met with her girlfriends and posed for photographs outside her alma mater, Coorg Public School (COPS) in Gonikoppal, Karnataka. In her reflective post, she expressed belief that events in life unfold for positive reasons, making the journey feel meaningful.
