Speculation is mounting in entertainment circles after Bollywood actress Disha Patani was spotted in close company with rising Punjabi singer Talwiinder, also known as Talwinder Singh Sidhu. The pair drew attention while attending the recent grand wedding of Nupur Sanon and Stebin Ben in Udaipur, where viral videos captured them appearing affectionate—Disha wrapping her arm around Talwiinder as he held it warmly, and the two sharing laughs with businessman Suraj Nambiar, husband of actress Mouni Roy.
Further footage from Udaipur airport showed them together as they departed for Mumbai, with Talwiinder briefly revealing his face during a security check. The actress, previously linked romantically to actor Tiger Shroff, has not addressed the rumours, nor has the singer.
Talwiinder, aged 28 and born on November 23, 1997, hails from a Punjabi Jat Sikh family in Tarn Taran, Amritsar, Punjab. He discovered his love for music early, beginning to sing at the age of four under the influence of his grandfather, a Punjabi teacher, and drawing inspiration from icons like Surinder Kaur and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. At 14, he relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area, where he balanced his education with a growing passion for music, performing at school events and local gatherings.
The artist, who is also a songwriter and producer, maintains a distinctive anonymity by concealing his face during performances—often with skull face paint—or wearing masks in public. In an interview with Rolling Stone India, he explained his preference for privacy: he values the freedom to live ordinarily, enjoy simple pleasures like street food with friends, and keep the focus on his music rather than his appearance.
Talwiinder gained widespread recognition for his guest verse on Pakistani artist Hasan Raheem’s track “Wishes,” which dominated Punjabi charts and amassed millions of streams. His solo catalogue features popular songs such as Gallan 4, Pal Pal, Haseen, Your Eyes, Tu, and Khayaal. In 2024, he released his debut album Misfit, a 13-track exploration of diverse styles. His live credits include opening for global stars Dua Lipa at Zomaland Festival in Mumbai and G-Eazy on his India tour, as well as performing at Lollapalooza India 2025 alongside headliners like Shawn Mendes and Green Day.
