Fans Await Indian OTT Debut of Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar 2’ as Platform Teases Imminent Arrival

‘Dhurandhar 2’ remains a dominant force in entertainment conversations, with its postponed digital release in India sparking widespread curiosity among audiences. While viewers in multiple international markets have already gained access to the Ranveer Singh-led film, domestic fans continue to anticipate an official streaming date on local platforms.
In response to mounting anticipation, JioHotstar shared a fresh teaser on its official X account. The clip from the movie was accompanied by the caption, “Ladies and gentlemen, are you ready for this?” along with the tagline “Exploding soon.” The promotional post suggests the release is drawing near, yet the platform has stopped short of confirming a specific launch date for Indian viewers.
Internationally, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is set to premiere on Netflix between May 14 and May 15, 2026, varying by time zones. In certain overseas territories, the film is being marketed with alternative titles including ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge (Raw & Undekha)’ and ‘Raw & Unseen’.
This director’s cut is believed to incorporate extra action sequences, previously edited footage, and material removed to meet theatrical certification standards, providing a more comprehensive experience for international audiences.

On the theatrical front, Aditya Dhar’s high-octane action thriller shows remarkable staying power. Even after nearly two months in cinemas, it drew audiences on its 57th day. The film earned Rs 35 lakh on day 57, marking a modest 5.4 percent decline from the prior day’s Rs 37 lakh collection. It played across 735 shows nationwide, pushing its total India net tally to Rs 1,144.56 crore.
The sustained box office performance underscores the film’s enduring appeal, even as discussions shift toward its digital rollout. Indian audiences, meanwhile, remain eager for JioHotstar to finalise plans for the much-awaited home premiere.
