Nandita Sinha To Exit Myntra Ahead Of Flipkart IPO Plans

Nandita Sinha, the chief executive officer (CEO) of Flipkart-owned online fashion platform Myntra, is set to make her exit in the coming weeks as reported by Moneycontrol. 

Since 2013 Nandita has been a part of the Walmart-owned Flipkart group. One of the insiders informed that Nandita is moving out of the Flipkart Group and the company is working on finding her replacement as early as possible. Soon a candidate will be finalized.” 

While the second source informed that Sharon Pais is looked upon as the next option as now she is the head of Flipkart Fashion and formerly chief business officer (CBO) at Myntra. 

One of the spokesperson for Flipkart said that they are restricting comments on market speculation as of now nobody is aware of Sinhas’s next move. 

Sinha’s exit comes ahead of Flipkart’s planned IPO which is scheduled by the end of this year. 

Sinha joined Flipkart as Associate Director about 13 years ago and has been part of the several teams while being in the company. 

During her stint as CEO of Myntra, Sinha had also handled additional responsibilities to lead Flipkart Fashion before handing it over to Pais. Walmart almost accounts for 50% of India’s $21 billion fashion e-commerce market.
