Archana Gautam’s Mumbai Cafe Robbed: Thief Allegedly Walks Away With Entire Cash Counter

Mumbai: Actress and television personality Archana Gautam is dealing with an unexpected setback after her Mumbai cafe, Oye Churros, was allegedly robbed. Gautam has shared CCTV footage of the incident on social media, claiming that a man entered the cafe, damaged the premises and left with the entire cash counter. She has also confirmed that an FIR has been filed and appealed to Mumbai Police to trace the person responsible.
The CCTV footage, shared by Gautam, appears to show a man entering the cafe during the early hours and removing the cash counter before leaving. While the footage has been made public by the actress, the identity of the person seen in it has not been established publicly.
Gautam said the incident left her deeply upset, particularly because of the personal effort that went into setting up the cafe. She had entered the food business in October 2025 with Oye Churros and said she had put her own savings, time and hard work into building the venture.
In her social media post, Gautam urged people with homes and businesses to take security seriously. She also expressed her disappointment over the incident and asked Mumbai Police to take action against the alleged thief. She said Mumbai had always felt safe to her, making the experience particularly upsetting.

The incident has since attracted attention from Gautam’s friends and followers. Television personalities, including Riddhima Pandit and Bebika Dhurve, expressed their support and hoped that the person responsible would be caught.
Gautam became a familiar face to television audiences after her stint on Bigg Boss 16. She later appeared in Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 and Celebrity MasterChef, and has also worked in films including Great Grand Masti and Haseena Parkar.
For now, the case remains under investigation. Gautam has made the CCTV footage public in the hope that it will help identify the alleged offender, while the police investigation will determine what exactly happened and who was behind the theft.
