Women’s T20 World Cup Schedule Announced – India Vs Pakistan Clash Set For June 14

Dubai : After India thrashed Pakistan in just three days last month in another format, all eyes are now on the upcoming high-voltage cricket battle between the arch-rivals – this time in the Women’s T20 World Cup. ICC has announced back-to-back women’s world cup schedules, including the much-awaited India vs Pakistan clash.

Two days ago, the Women’s ODI World Cup schedule was released, featuring the India-Pakistan match on October 5 in Colombo. Now, the schedule for the Women’s T20 World Cup has also been announced. According to it, the India vs Pakistan encounter will take place on June 14 at Edgbaston.

The Women’s T20 World Cup will be held in England in June 2026, with both India and Pakistan playing their first match against each other on June 14. The main tournament kicks off on June 12.

In any ICC event (men’s or women’s), India vs Pakistan matches draw the most viewership and stadium attendance. This also results in maximum earnings for host venues and broadcasting companies.

A total of 12 teams will compete in the tournament, which will last 24 days, starting from June 12 with England vs Sri Lanka at Edgbaston, and the final will be held on July 5 at Lord’s.

The 12 teams are divided into two groups:

Group 1: Six-time champions Australia, runners-up South Africa, India, Pakistan, and two qualifying teams.

Group 2: Defending champions New Zealand, Sri Lanka, West Indies, hosts England, and two qualifying teams.

The top two teams from each group will move to the semi-finals.

India’s and Knockout Matches in the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026:

  1. India vs Pakistan – June 14, Edgbaston
  2. India vs Qualifier Team – June 17, Headingley
  3. India vs South Africa – June 21, Old Trafford
  4. India vs Qualifier Team – June 25, Old Trafford
  5. India vs Australia – June 28, Lord’s
  6. 1st Semi-final – June 30, The Oval
  7. 2nd Semi-final – July 2, The Oval
  8. Final – July 5, Lord’
