Gujarat: Woman with COVID-19 Admitted to Sola Civil, Requires Oxygen Support

Ahmedabad: COVID-19 appears to be making a comeback in Gujarat, with a daily increase in reported cases. A woman exhibiting symptoms of the virus has been admitted to Sola Civil Hospital after testing positive. The patient, a 20-year-old woman, required oxygen support upon admission due to her condition.

Ahmedabad City Reports Seven COVID-19 Cases

Ahmedabad has seen a resurgence of COVID-19 with seven new positive cases identified across the city. One case each was reported in Vatva, Narol, Danilimda, Behrampura, Gota, Navrangpura, and Bopal. Of these, four are male patients and three are female. All individuals are currently in home isolation. The sudden rise in cases has prompted the health department to go into action mode, expressing concern over the situation.

India Records 257 Active COVID-19 Cases

Across India, COVID-19 cases are on the rise once again, according to updates from the Ministry of Health. As of May 19, the country has 257 active cases of the virus. This increase is mirrored in other nations as well. The Ministry of Health indicated that on May 12, there were 164 cases nationwide. Kerala accounts for the highest number of cases with 69. Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu have also reported several cases, leading the central government to issue an alert.
