The end of fans’ wait is in sight as the makers of the popular show “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah” have found a replacement for Dayaben’s role. As per sources, mock shoots with the new actress have also begun.
The buzz is that recently, one of the auditions impressed Asit Kumarr Modi, the show’s producer, and his search for the new actor has ended as of now. Mock shoots with the new actress are going on since a week. The role of Dayaben was played by actress Disha Vakani, who left the show in 2018 for her maternity break, and has not returned since. The producer, Asit Kumarr Modi, had earlier promised the fans that Disha would return to the show as Dayaben.
However, earlier this year, Asit confirmed that Disha would not be returning to the show due to her busy schedule with her children. Thus, possibilities of Disha Vakani’s return are now bleaker, much with the news of the new actress being finalized. Ever since Disha Vakani left the show for her maternity break, fans have been eagerly waiting for her return. Even after nearly 7 years of her exit, fans miss her character of Dayaben and the way she used to talk and act in the show. She was one of the most-loved characters of the show.
On the other hand, sources also state that not only for the role of Dayaben, but auditions are also being conducted for new characters that will be added to the show. These new characters will be introduced to the show soon.
The show has been popular among the masses, owing to its hilarious characters and an equally hilarious way of depicting daily-life situations. But lately the show is also facing criticism as many of the actors from the original cast are now replaced with new actors.
