The grand finale of IPL 2025 has begun with a patriotic and energetic closing ceremony at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Before the final showdown between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBKS), the league paid tribute to the Indian Armed Forces through a ceremony themed ‘Operation Sindoor’.

In a key pre-match moment, Punjab Kings won the toss and chose to bowl first, adding strategic intrigue to what promises to be a thrilling final. The match is scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM.

The evening started with a heartfelt dance performance on B Praak’s ‘Teri Mitti’, followed by an electrifying musical segment by Shankar Mahadevan, joined by his sons Siddharth and Shivam Mahadevan. They performed stirring patriotic songs such as ‘Ae Watan’, ‘Kandhon Se Milte Hain Kandhe’, and ‘Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon, Bharat Rehna Chahiye’, igniting a wave of emotion across the stadium.

The atmosphere became even more electric as ‘Jai Ho’ played, with spectators waving the tricolor and cheering loudly. Dignitaries including BCCI President and ICC Chairman Jay Shah were seen in the stands.
