Noida : A five-year-old girl was killed and two others critically injured after a speeding BMW car crashed into a scooter in Noida’s Sector 30 on Saturday night. The car involved in the accident has been seized and two students — identified as Yash Sharma and Abhishek Rawat — have been arrested, the Noida Police confirmed.
An investigation is underway to determine the sequence of events and whether the accused were under the influence or driving rashly at the time of the accident. The incident came just a day after another fatal road accident was reported in Greater Noida’s Badalpur area.
On Saturday evening, three young men riding a scooty were hit by an unidentified vehicle near Sadopur canal while they were on their way to Dadri. All three suffered grievous injuries and were rushed to Mohan Swaroop Hospital in Dadri. Two of them — identified as Faizan and Anas — died during treatment, while the third remains in critical condition.
