
Gandhinagar : The Speaker has warned Jignesh Mevani before the question and answer session that he should not stand with any kind of poster. Mevani has come wearing a black color shirt in protest against the budget. The policy will provide new opportunities to young talent in AI-based research and skill development. Semiconductors and high value manufacturing will get more momentum. Agriculture, disaster management, urban planning and governance will become more effective. Also, carbon emissions will be reduced by making maximum use of renewable energy. Which will help Gujarat realize the goal of self-reliant India and developed Gujarat@2047.
As a policy driven state, the Gujarat government has announced important policies. These include Gujarat Spacetech Policy, Gujarat Electronics Component Manufacturing Policy, Action Plan for Implementation of AI, Integrated Renewable Energy Policy and Gujarat Green Hydrogen Policy. The Vibrant Summit, started in 2003 during the tenure of the Prime Minister as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, has given a new boost to the economic progress of the state. Taking this forward, the state government has started Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conferences (VGRC). The main objective of which is to create employment and increase the per capita income of every citizen.
As a result of the effective work done by our government in the tribal areas, the ‘Best Performing State’ award has been given to Gujarat in the entire country under the Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyay Maha Abhiyan (PM JANMAN) by His Excellency the President in the year 2025. Which is a matter of pride for all of us. With the spirit of ‘no one should be left behind in development and no one should be deprived of development’, the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Mundaji of the tribal community has been celebrated in a grand manner.
To realize the vision of India@2047 developed with ‘Support of all, Development of all, Effort of all and Confidence of all’, Gujarat Administrative Reforms Commission (GARC) has so far presented six reports. In which effective recommendations have been given on topics like citizen-centric services, administrative reforms and human resources. The implementation of which is proving to be an important step towards good governance and efficient administration.
