Team India Head Coach Gautam Gambhir Pays Visit At Salasar Balaji Temple In Rajasthan 

Churu: Indian men’s cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir offered prayers at Rajasthan’s Salasar Balaji Temple in Churu, on Wednesday. 

Gautam Gambhir offered his prayers and wished for the prosperity of the nation. The temple priest’s family facilitated the worship ceremony for Lord Balaji and extended a warm welcome to the coach. 

He coached the Indian Cricket Team to victory in the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. His next assignment as head coach will be in June in an all-format home series against Afghanistan where they will host the Asian counterparts for a one-off Test and three ODIs. They will then play two T20Is against Ireland in Belfast before commencing the highly anticipated England tour in July. 

Talking about the ongoing IPL 2026 Season, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), in which gambhir has been an integral part of in the past, have struggled to secure a single win in the Five matches that they have played so far. 

In the IPL 2026 points table, KKR is currently positioned at last. 

Under the IPL title Gambhir has won as captain in KKR Franchise in 2012, 2014 and later again in 2024 gaining third championship. 

Subsequently, his success records with the KKR has gained him the position of Head Coach in the Indian National Team.
