The trend of threats to blow up flights with bombs has increased in India for the last one year. Today a bomb threat received at Ahmedabad airport for blowing up a flight which was coming from Ahmedabad. After getting information, security agencies rushed to the spot. Not only this, the threat also affected other planes.
It is noteworthy that a letter was found in the toilet of a flight coming from London to Ahmedabad stating that the flight would be blown up with a bomb in two hours. After which the flight was checked by the bomb squad at Ahmedabad airport. An investigation launched to find out who spread this rumor as no objectionable item was found on the flight.
Rahul and Sonia Gandhi’s plane was delayed in landing at Ahmedabad airport due to a bomb scare. Rahul Gandhi’s chartered plane was allowed to land in Ahmedabad only after the London-bound flight was checked at the airport.
