Patna, Bihar: Political tensions in Bihar have escalated just before the first phase of the assembly elections, with Tej Pratap Yadav launching a sharp verbal attack on his younger brother and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader, Tejashwi Yadav. After being expelled from the RJD, Tej Pratap, who is contesting the election on a ticket from his own party, the Jan Shakti Janata Dal, publicly belittled his brother.
Speaking to the media, Tej Pratap dismissed his brother’s political stature. “Tejashwi is still a child,” he stated. “After the election, we will hand him a rattle (झुनझुना).” The jibe comes as the family feud between the two sons of former Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav intensifies on the campaign trail.
