Toll Charges Set to Increase on Pune-Mumbai and Samruddhi Expressways Starting April 1

Starting April 1, commuters traveling on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway and Samruddhi Expressway will face a rise in toll charges. The increase is part of the regular revision in toll rates to support road maintenance and infrastructure development.

Pune-Mumbai Expressway Toll Hike

The toll for vehicles using the Pune-Mumbai Expressway will see a 3% increase. This means that four-wheelers will have to pay an additional ₹5 for a one-way trip and ₹10 for a round trip.

Samruddhi Expressway Toll Increase

Similarly, the toll rates on the Samruddhi Expressway will also rise, with four-wheelers facing a ₹5 hike for one-way journeys and a ₹10 increase for round trips.

Commuters are advised to factor in these changes when planning their travels, as the toll adjustments are set to take effect from the beginning of April. These hikes are expected to contribute to better road maintenance and further infrastructure upgrades along the expressways.
