These drivers, referred to as ‘Prototype Vehicle Operators,’ will play a critical role in collecting data by operating engineering vehicles on Indian roads.
The initiative aims to adapt Tesla’s advanced driver-assistance technology to the unique challenges of India’s driving environment, characterized by dense traffic, diverse vehicle types, unpredictable pedestrian movements, and varying road conditions.
