The warning comes as regional tensions have intensified due to the ongoing Iran-related conflict, prompting heightened security alerts across several Gulf countries. In this environment, the Indian mission emphasised that Indians should remain cautious and adhere to instructions issued by local authorities.
The embassy also advised citizens not to circulate photos or videos of incident sites on social media platforms. Officials noted that such content could violate UAE regulations and potentially interfere with security operations.
In addition to avoiding photography and filming, Indian nationals have been encouraged to remain vigilant, stay updated through official sources, and comply with safety guidelines issued by UAE authorities and the Indian diplomatic mission.
The advisory forms part of a broader set of precautionary measures issued by Indian missions across the Gulf region as geopolitical tensions escalate in the Middle East.
