Mumbai: The Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of Mumbai Police has summoned social media influencer Orry in connection with the ₹252-crore drug manufacturing and trafficking case.
The summons issued to Orry, whose real name is Orhan Awatramani, comes after revelations made by arrested drug supplier Mohammed Salim Sohail Shaikh, alias Lavish, who was recently deported from Dubai for his involvement in the ₹252-crore mephedrone seizure in Sangli in March 2024.
According to investigators, Shaikh disclosed during interrogation that he had organised rave parties in India and abroad, which were allegedly attended by several Bollywood celebrities. Shaikh, who had been residing in Dubai for the past three years with his family, was allegedly coordinating between drug peddlers and arranging raw material supplies for drug manufacturing units operating in Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana and Rajasthan.

The Anti-Narcotics Cell asked Orry to appear before its Ghatkopar unit at 10 am on Thursday for questioning. However, Orry has requested a postponement, seeking a date after November 25, as he is currently not in the city.
During interrogation, Shaikh informed Mumbai Police that he organized extravagant parties in Dubai and Mumbai allegedly attended by various celebrities and prominent personalities, including actors Nora Fatehi and Shraddha Kapoor, filmmakers Abbas-Mustan, influencer Orry, rapper Loka, and politician Zeeshan Siddique. Police officials have stated that these claims are still being verified as the investigation is in its early stages.
An Anti-Narcotics Cell officer stated that Orry has been summoned to explain his role, if any, in relation to Shaikh’s statements. “We will decide on questioning other celebrities after speaking to him,” the officer added.
