In Borivali, Mumbai, ten persons were taken into custody for causing mayhem during a birthday celebration.
On August 5, at around 12:30 in the morning, images of the incident show the black Innova automobile close to the Gharkul Co-operative Housing Society in Gorai-2.
The individual celebrating their birthday was cutting the numerous cakes that were displayed on the car’s bonnet. The others, who appeared to be his pals, were observed partying in public while creating mayhem and making noise.
In Borivali’s Gorai-2, a group of men decided to host a birthday celebration in the middle of the road.
The area’s traffic was disrupted by the enormous throng, and the loud noise disturbed the tranquility. But none of that seemed to interfere with the festivities. Rather, they pulled out the airgun, and one of the men shot the pellet-releasing weapon. Borivali police claim that Jatin Sharma took the “baby airgun” with her.
Vijesh Upadhyay was the one who fired it. There was panic in the area as a result of the firing, which involved the use of pellets. According to police, the act put other people’s safety in jeopardy. Ten people involved in the case have been taken into custody, including Vijesh Upadhyay, Jatin Sharma, and Akash Gupta.
A case has been filed under the Maharashtra Police Act, the Motor Vehicles Act, the Criminal Law Amendment Act, and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Additional investigation is being done on the issue.
