Korean Actor Kim Soo-Hyun Denies Allegations Tied to Kim Sae-Ron’s Death
Seoul : South Korean actor Kim Soo-hyun has recently clarified the air regarding the scandal of him and the deceased actress Kim Sae-ron who died in an apparent suicide in February. The actor has made tearful public statement denying the allegations made by the family of the deceased actress Kim Sae-ron.
The actor stated, ” I can’t admit to something I didn’t do… ” at a press conference in Seoul. The controversy ws around the two llegations stating that Kim Soo-hyun had dated Kim Sae-ron when she was 15 a minor and that his agency had pressured her to repay the loan she owed him. The scandal in no time had made the headline and has shocked South Korea and its entertainment industry. The actor has faced the backlash who roled in multiple drama series and films which were hit and had made him one of its best known stars.
The actor while sobbing said that although he dated the actress for a year when she was an adult, they never dated while she was underage. The actor held a press conference after weeks of accusations and counter-accusations between the deceased’s family and the actor. The scandal was broke on 10th March by a social media channel who’s known for its controversial content, stated that the actor had dated her for six years.The channel had also released videos and photos it claims were taken during their relationship.
The actor during the press conference became emotional and said ” Many people are suffering because of me, I also feel sorry that the late actress isn’t able to rest in peace. I never dated her when she was a minor, except for the fact that both of us were actors, our relationship was just like that of any other ordinary couple. He also defended his previous statement regarding their relationship when Kim Sae-ron had posted and later deleted a photo of them together during the ” Queen of Tears” run on TV last year. The actor stated ” I had so much to protect as its lead actor. What would have happened if I had admitted to a year-long relationship? What would happen to the actors, the staff who were working overnight and the production team who had everything staked on that project? He also stated” As far as I know, she was dating someone else at the time. Given the circumstances, I was very cautious about contacting her… Her family is accusing me of driving her to her death just because I wa sher ex-boyfriend. They are pressuring me to confess to something I didn’t do”.
