Newly released documents from the Jeffrey Epstein investigation have brought forth disturbing allegations against Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, contained in a series of draft emails penned by the convicted sex offender himself in July 2013. The emails, sent from Epstein to his own account, were allegedly written from the viewpoint of Boris Nikolic, Gates’ former adviser, and appear to function as unsent correspondence mixing threats with emotional appeals. These documents represent some of the most explosive material in the latest document release.
Allegations of STD and Secret Medication
In one draft message, Epstein, writing as Nikolic, alleges that Gates had acquired a sexually transmitted disease following encounters with “Russian girls” and had requested antibiotics to secretly administer to his then-wife Melinda French Gates. The same email claims Gates pleaded with him to erase emails concerning “your STD, your request that I provide you antibiotics that you can surreptitiously give to Melinda, and the description of your penis.”
A separate draft, structured as a resignation letter, contains additional allegations. Epstein writes that Nikolic had assisted Gates in obtaining drugs to address the aftermath of encounters with “Russian girls” and had been requested to engage in activities ranging from “morally inappropriate” to “potentially illegal.” “In my role as his right hand I had been asked on mulitple occassion [sic] and in hindsight, wrongly acquiesced into participating in things that have ranged from the morally inappropriate, to the ethically unsound and had been repeatedly asked to do other things that get near and potentially over the line into the illegal,” Epstein wrote in Nikolic’s voice.
Throughout the documents, Epstein presents himself as possessing damaging information and suggests using it for leverage, especially if a public divorce threatened Gates’ philanthropic reputation.
“I am concerned that if Melinda decides as you said to file for a public divorce, the damage done to the pledge program alone would result in billions of dollars of money no longer being used for social good as Im [sic] sure that some wives and husbands would feel free to retreat from their commitments,” he wrote.
Gates’ Team Issues Flat Denial
Gates’ representatives have categorically rejected all allegations. In a statement, his spokesperson termed the claims “absolutely absurd and completely false,” maintaining that the emails merely reveal Epstein’s disappointment at losing contact with Gates and his readiness to create false narratives.
“The only thing these documents demonstrate is Epstein’s frustration that he did not have an ongoing relationship with Gates and the lengths he would go to entrap and defame,” the statement said.
Nikolic has not issued any public statement regarding the emails.
Questions About the Draft Emails
The reason Epstein composed these messages or preserved multiple versions remains unknown. According to the New York Post, at least seven variations of the drafts exist.
The emails are part of more than three million documents released by the Department of Justice, much of which comprises raw, unconfirmed material gathered during investigations.
History of Gates-Epstein Association
Gates has previously acknowledged regretting his connection with Epstein while denying any wrongdoing. Photographs and meeting records verify that the two were acquainted, and their relationship has faced examination for years.
In 2023, the Wall Street Journal reported that Epstein attempted to blackmail Gates in 2017 over an alleged affair with a Russian bridge player, a claim Gates’ team also dismissed.
