“Bharat Innovates” Finds its Launch in One of the Most Innovative Nations: France

France: The Indian Prime Minister, on a mission to establish friendly bonds with various nations, reached France and met with President Emmanuel Macron on Sunday. The purpose of this rendezvous was the joint inauguration of the campaign “Bharat Innovates 2026” in the French city of Nice.

The three-day congress, launched during the Prime Minister’s visit, brings together investors, startups, innovators, and venture capitalists from India, France, and other nations. The Indian Prime Minister addressed the strong bond between the two countries and acknowledged their shared connection. “There are some relations that are driven by shared vision, along with shared interest. The relation between France and India is like that. In this relation, there is connection as well as conviction. In this relation, there is innovation and inspiration. In this relation, there are shared values and a shared vision,” the Prime Minister said at the inaugural event. Highlighting the innate creative instinct of Indians, he stated that innovation is in India’s DNA, adding that the country has practised innovation for thousands of years.

The Prime Minister informed the gathering that India aims to build technology for humanity, technology that is trustable, inclusive, and human-centric. “This has been the guiding principle of India’s digital revolution. The core element of our AI vision is ‘AI for All’,” he added. Emphasizing that India is no longer just an adopter but a provider of technology, he stated, “Whatever India innovates is aimed at benefiting humanity. Bharat Innovates seeks to advance that very vision.” He underscored that India has proven to be not only a consumer of solutions but also a contributor.

Following this cordial three-day visit, the Prime Minister is off to Slovakia, marking the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister since the nation’s independence in 1993. This two-nation tour highlights India’s commitment to build healthy relations with foreign countries.
