Two JeM Terrorists Killed In Encounter With Forces In J&K’s Kishtwar

Kishtwar : This operation was joint efforts of teams of J&K police, Army and the CRPF which was launched after receiving intel inputs from the police and other intelligence agencies. 

Among the two terrorists, one has been identified as Saifullah while security forces have discovered two AK-47 rifles and some other arms and ammunition from the encounter site. 

Earlier, the army informed that during 10.30 am in the morning an encounter broke out in Passerkut in the Chatroo area of the district. Officials informed that the input was received by the locals itself as they were present in that area already. 

Pakistani Terrorist Killed 

A terrorist was shot dead by security personnel last month in the Kathua district during a coordinated operation by the Army, the Central Reserve Police Force, and the Jammu and Kashmir police.

According to police, Usman was the terrorist who was killed and was associated with the Jaish-e-Mohammad organization.

In a cooperative operation with the Army and CRPF, a small JKP squad neutralized a Pakistani Jaish terrorist in the Billawar region of Kathua district, Jammu Inspector General of Police BS Tuti had earlier told the media. 

After certain intelligence inputs were received, the operation started in the Billawar area, and forces subsequently surrounded the area. After making contact with the terrorist, a targeted strike killed him.
