India Condemns Fujairah Strike as ‘Unacceptable’ After Three Indians Injured In Iran-Linked Attack

New Delhi : India has strongly denounced the recent attack on the United Arab Emirates’ Fujairah region, where three Indian nationals were injured, calling the incident “unacceptable.” According to a report by NDTV, the strike occurred amid rising tensions linked to the ongoing Iran conflict and targeted critical infrastructure in the area.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) expressed serious concern over the safety of civilians and condemned the assault, particularly because it impacted innocent individuals and civilian facilities. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that the attack, which led to injuries among Indian citizens, cannot be justified and urged an immediate halt to escalating hostilities. 

As reported by NDTV, the government emphasized the need to avoid targeting civilian infrastructure and stressed the importance of protecting innocent lives during such conflicts. India reiterated its consistent position that dialogue and diplomatic engagement remain the only viable path to restoring peace and stability in the Middle East.

The incident took place after a drone strike triggered a fire at the Fujairah oil facility, a key energy hub in the UAE. Reports from multiple agencies indicated that the injured Indians received medical attention following the attack, which forms part of a broader escalation in the region. 

India’s response highlights growing concern over the safety of its nationals abroad, especially in conflict-prone areas. The government has called for restraint from all sides and urged efforts to de-escalate tensions to prevent further harm.

NDTV reported that India continues to monitor the situation closely while advocating for peace through diplomatic means, underlining the urgency of restoring stability in a region critical to global energy and security.
