New Delhi : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Gaurav Bhatia held a press conference and alleged that the opposition leader Rahul Gandhi orchestrated a “conspiracy to embarrass India” on Tuesday. After the arrest of Youth Congress Leader Uday Bhanu Chib in connection with the protest at Bharat Mandapam during the India AI Summit 2026, Bhatia called Gandhi India’s weakest link and questioned his knowledge of the constitution.
Bhatia Said, “Rahul Gandhi hatched this conspiracy to embarrass India… Uday Bhanu Chib was arrested for organising a shirtless protest by Youth Congress workers during the AI Summit, and the Delhi police sought his 7 day remand form the court… Uday Bhanu Chib has been sent for four days of police custody…Rahul Gandhi has not read a copy of the Constitution. India’s leader of the opposition is India’s weakest link…Every citizen of India follows the constitution because it is the thread that binds Indians together.”

Earlier today, in connection with the protest case of AI Summit, four days police custody to Indian Youth Congress (IYC) President Uday Bhanu Chib was granted by Delhi Court.
According to the officials, Chib is accused as the main conspirator and mastermind behind the incident along with his co-accused Shree Krishna Hari, Ajay Kumar Yadav, Narsimha Yadav and Kundan Yadav. They were involved in raising anti-national slogans, misconduct with police officials on duty as well as attempting to incite riot-like situations.
He is alleged to not cooperate with the police for revealing names of his partners in the crime as well as failing to disclose any details regarding the source of T-shirts they wore during the protest.
Police informed that the investigation is ongoing and further details will be revealed soon. Meanwhile, the case has been transferred to the Delhi Police crime branch.
