Chirag Goti Viral Video: Surat witnessed dramatic scenes today as police conducted a crime scene reconstruction involving notorious accused Chirag Goti, who allegedly framed his business partner by planting drugs in his car and terrorized innocent people through assault and intimidation. When Surat City SOG police arrived at the location for the reconstruction, thousands of residents gathered on the streets, with the angry crowd tearing Chirag Goti’s shirt and pelting him with slippers. The situation escalated to such an extent that heavy scuffles broke out during the reconstruction process, and police had to make tremendous efforts to rescue Chirag Goti from the furious mob. The entire locality had been living in fear due to his arrogant activities.
Demands for Death Penalty
Residents burst firecrackers outside Chirag Goti’s residence in celebration of his arrest and organized protest demonstrations with drums, demanding capital punishment. Typically, crime scene reconstructions involving criminals create an atmosphere of fear, but witnessing the anger of terrorized residents brought Chirag Goti’s arrogance down, as he was seen folding his hands and begging for forgiveness.

What is the Drug Case?
The incident dates back approximately 10 months when Singanpor police arrested oil trader Alpesh Miyani with drugs worth Rs 7.87 lakh during a vehicle checking operation based on a tip-off. Investigation revealed that following a dispute with his business partner and friend Alpesh Miyani, Chirag Goti harbored enmity and planted drugs in Alpesh Miyani’s car. Chirag himself provided the information to police, leading to Alpesh Miyani’s arrest with drugs valued at Rs 7.87 lakh. However, police investigation exposed Chirag Goti’s sinister conspiracy. After the complaint was registered, he kept changing locations to evade police and fled to Nepal, staying in different hotels. Subsequently, he surrendered in Surat court. Besides this case, notorious Chirag Goti has over 6 criminal cases registered against him in police records, including extortion and issuing threats.
