
Kutch: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Red Alert for severe heatwave conditions expected in parts of Gujarat today, and a Yellow Alert for heatwave conditions in several districts tomorrow.
According to the IMD bulletin, severe heatwave conditions are highly likely in isolated areas of Surendranagar, Porbandar, and Kutch on March 12, with a Red Alert in place for these districts.
Additionally, an Orange or Yellow Alert has been issued for Banaskantha, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Anand, Rajkot, Morbi, Junagadh, Amreli, Botad, Bhavnagar, Sabarkantha, and Vadodara, as these regions are anticipated to experience heatwave conditions.
Warm night conditions are expected in isolated areas of Gujarat, particularly in Anand, as well as in Saurashtra-Kutch, including Surendranagar, Porbandar, and Kutch.
On March 13, heatwave conditions are likely to continue in isolated areas of North Gujarat, including Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, as well as in Saurashtra-Kutch, particularly Surendranagar, Porbandar, and Kutch.
