A massive fire has broken out in a timber godown near Mithi Rohar on the Bhachau- Gandhidham Corridor Highway. The fire has broken out in a godown named Shankar Timber Mart. The place where the fire has broken out is adjacent to a petrol pump, which has added to the panic of the people.
After getting the information of the fire, the fire department team reached the spot, trying to control the fire. Apparently, the fire broke out in a pile of timber in the godown. The fire took a fierce form in some time.
On the other hand, the place where the fire broke out is very near to a petrol pump. This caused an atmosphere of terror and anxiety among the people. As soon as the fire was reported, teams from the Bhachau and Gandhidham fire departments rushed to the spot and started putting efforts in order to control the raging fire.
As per the information received from the locals, the fire broke out in the stubble present between the piles of wood, possibly due to extreme heat. Keeping in mind the safety of commuters, the National Highway has been closed from both the sides.
