Kinjal Rabari, Husband Ashok Chaudhary Get Relief from Gujarat High Court; Singer Denies Kidnapping Claim

Popular singer Kinjal Rabari and her husband Ashok Chaudhary appeared before the Gujarat High Court via video conferencing, addressing the matter before any formal legal action could proceed against them. Appearing before the court, Kinjal Rabari clearly stated that she had not been kidnapped. With the kidnapping complaint filed against Ashok Chaudhary turning out to be questionable, the Gujarat High Court granted the couple significant relief, issuing an interim stay on Ashok Chaudhary’s arrest. As a result, police cannot currently detain or arrest him. The singer herself told the court that she was staying with her husband of her own free will, effectively establishing the kidnapping complaint as unfounded. Following this clarification, the High Court restrained the police from taking any strict action in the matter, granting the couple major relief.
New Developments Emerging Daily
The case, which began with a complaint that singer Kinjal Rabari was kidnapped from Ahmedabad’s Chandkheda area on September 6, has seen new developments surface each day. The matter drew widespread attention after a police complaint was filed by the singer’s husband, Mukesh Desai. Amid the ensuing controversy, Kinjal Rabari appeared before the Gujarat High Court alongside Ashok Chaudhary via video conferencing, putting an end to the speculation surrounding the case.
Kinjal Rabari’s Startling Statement Before the Court
When questioned by the Gujarat High Court, singer Kinjal Rabari clearly stated that she had not been kidnapped. When the court asked her, “Has anyone kidnapped you?”, she replied, “No, no one has kidnapped me. I am staying with my husband Ashok Chaudhary of my own free will.” Her lawyer informed the court that Kinjal is 24 years old and an adult, and that she wishes to remain with her husband, Ashok Chaudhary, by her own choice.
Did Not Go Earlier Due to Family Pressure
During the hearing, the singer also acknowledged that a habeas corpus petition had previously been filed on her behalf. However, at that time, due to significant pressure from her family, she had declined to go with her husband, Ashok Chaudhary, and had chosen to stay with her family instead.
High Court Stays Arrest of Ashok Chaudhary
Earlier in the case, a video of Kinjal had surfaced, following which an application was also submitted to the Police Commissioner. Now, with the singer clarifying before the High Court that she is staying with her husband voluntarily, the kidnapping complaint has been rendered entirely questionable. Taking this into account, the Gujarat High Court granted major relief by staying Ashok Chaudhary’s arrest, meaning police cannot currently take strict action against him in this matter.
