Gujarat Rain Alert: Monsoon Active But Showers to Weaken — 7-Day Forecast Inside

Ahmedabad: Gujarat’s weather pattern is taking an unusual turn this monsoon season. Typically, when a low-pressure system and a monsoon trough two powerful weather systems are active simultaneously, heavy rainfall is expected across the region. However, according to the Meteorological Department, despite both systems being active, rainfall intensity in the state is likely to decrease rather than increase in the coming days. Over the next seven days, Gujarat is expected to witness only light to moderate rain showers.

No heavy rainfall warning has been issued for any district in the state during this period. However, a thunderstorm alert has been sounded for the next three days, with the possibility of lightning strikes and winds blowing at speeds of 30 to 40 kilometres per hour.
