Gujarat Rain Forecast: Gujarat has been witnessing heavy to very heavy rainfall for the past four to five days, with South and Central Gujarat bearing the brunt of the impact. Areas including Valsad and Navsari have seen normal life disrupted due to flood-like conditions. Amid this, more than 200 talukas across the state recorded rainfall by 6 pm on July 25. Meanwhile, according to the Meteorological Department, heavy rainfall has been forecast for the state on July 26-27, after which the intensity of rain is expected to ease somewhat. Heavy Rain Alert In The State
According to the Meteorological Department, an alert for heavy rainfall has been issued for more than 10 districts across Saurashtra, South, Central and North Gujarat on July 26-27. Following this, heavy rainfall is expected only in the districts of South-Central Gujarat during July 30-31. Meanwhile, light to moderate rainfall is likely across the state between July 28 and 29.
