Gujarat Government Transfers 72 IAS Officers in Major Administrative Reshuffle, New Collectors Appointed

Ahmedabad: The Gujarat government on Wednesday ordered a sweeping administrative reshuffle, transferring and reposting 72 IAS officers across the state in a single order. The changes come in the wake of local self-government elections and cover a wide range of senior positions, including district collectors, municipal commissioners, and heads of various government departments.

The reshuffle is one of the larger administrative overhauls the state has seen in recent times, with several districts getting new collectors and key civic bodies receiving new commissioners.
