Gandhinagar : The new cabinet of Gujarat has been officially announced. In which 26 ministers including CM Bhupendra Patel have been made. Amrutiya, Modhwadia, Vaghani, Rivaba, Darshana Vaghela are new faces in the list. However, some of old ministers like Balvantsingh Rajput, Raghavji Patel, Bhanuben Babariya, Mulu Bera, Kuber Dindora, Jagdish Vishwakarma, Mukesh Patel, Bhikuhsingh Parmar, Bachu Khabad, Kuvarji Halpati are dropped from the cabinet.
The new cabinet comprises the CM along with 7 Patidars, 8 OBCs, 3 SCs, and 4 STs. 3 women ministers will also take oath. Repeated ministers were personally informed by the Chief Minister via phone, assuring them of support for the oath-taking. New ministers were informed by Gujarat BJP state president Jagdish Vishwakarma.
Darshana Vaghela’s family and supporters celebrated at her home after she was appointed as a minister in the new Gujarat cabinet. Twelve new ministers, including Trikam Chhanga, Ramesh Katara, Ishwarsinh Parmar, and Swaroopji Thakor, were informed by phone about their induction before 10 AM.
Silver passes were arranged for other attendees. A separate gate was supposed to be constructed on the right side of Gate No. 1 of the Capital Planning Department for entry of silver pass holders. However, for some reason, the separate gate was not made, and all attendees are entering through Gate No. 1.
