Ahmedabad : A 15-year-old girl was gang-raped in Ahmedabad’s Shahibaug area. The young man from the same society where the girl lived and his friends had raped the girl 4 months ago. However, but girl did not say anything, the family started questioning her. The police have now registered a case against four youths and arrested them.
Girl who lives in Shahibaug studies in school. Girl was called to her house by a familiar youth living in her society four months ago. However, after girl was called home, three of his other friends were already present at the youth’s house. Four youths who came to the minor’s house together forcibly raped girl. After the incident girl was also asked not to tell anyone about the event.
She had been missing since the day of the incident and was not going to school regularly. When Girl’s family spoke to her about the incident, girl informed about the incident of rape. Girl’s family filed a complaint against the youths at Shahibaug police station in this regard. The police have registered a case under the Rape and Atrocity Act and arrested four accused. The incident is being further investigated by the SC, ST cell.
